We’re looking for someone with experience developing commercial web applications who can provide technical leadership for the Product team – mentoring junior team members and guiding architectural decisions for the features we’re working on.

The Product team like working on features that make our customers lives easier – from automatic invoice payments to explaining bank transactions in bulk, we work hard to ensure our customers love using FreeAgent every day. We are a small cross-functional team and enjoy a great degree of autonomy. We invest in our platform (code health, scalability, security) as well as working on new features. We favour pragmatism over idealism and we really care about quality and long-term sustainability of our work.

Our engineers arrive with diverse programming backgrounds, though we primarily work with Ruby, Rails, JavaScript, Reactjs, MySQL, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch and Puppet. You don’t have to have all these skills, we’ll help you get up to speed!
