This senior developer role offers a high level of authority over a robust and organized code base. The ideal candidate will be a multi-disciplinary senior software developer with a passion for working on and solving complex problems daily. DraftDay is a well-organized and full-featured fantasy sports platform with the infrastructure and team to match. This is an opportunity to learn from and collaborate on exciting development, working closely with established brands and enterprise-level consumer protection partners, to pioneer the next generation of gaming technology.
This is a 6 month contract opportunity, where some work may be done remotely, while some face time will be required in the NYC office.
Responsibilities
Solving a variety of issues surrounding API integrations; both internal with our proprietary API design, and external dealing with payment gateways, sports statistics providers, and business intelligence analytics systems.
Programming new gaming models, improving existing tournament structures, and providing audit support for a highly active real money gaming platform.
Business-to-business platform development, including real-time analytics, segmentation/revenue optimization, and invoicing control.
Enterprise-level infrastructure design and database cluster scaling.
Assist in and eventually lead development on financial transaction system code auditing, anti-fraud ingenuity, application security, and best of class enterprise payment processing, geolocation, and consumer identity verification.
Software and server performance optimization, working with hardware and cloud systems, and developing clever enhancements to grow platform worldwide.
