Workiva was founded on the philosophy of customers first! As a Cloud Operations Engineer, your number one responsibility is to ensure that our cloud based systems will support that customer first philosophy day in and day out.

What You’ll Do:

• We want you to bring your experience working with cloud-based production systems into an energetic, fun environment where the work you do makes a difference. On a daily basis you will:

• Collaborate and use professional concepts to resolve critical issues, and assist in design decisions.

• Clearly communicate concise strategic visions and directions.

• Work with development teams, acting as a resource regarding cloud technologies and best practices.

• Work with Cloud vendors and external technical support on upgrades, problem resolution, and design issues; along with monitoring and tuning appropriate systems to ensure optimum levels of performance.

• Participate in on-call rotation which includes 24×7 support of multiple complicated environments.
