The INRIX Mobile Team is looking for a Senior Big Data Developer to join our team. We are building a comprehensive new mobile SDK, innovative services, new branded INRIX experiences, and helping our partners leverage our SDK into their experiences. We have a great team in place, and are looking for a senior developer take things even further.
On the Mobile team at INRIX, we value open discussion, pushback, and management by objective and prioritization. You will be working closely with our Android, iOS, and QA teams.
How do we plan and build software on the Mobile Team?
It’s full Scrum and Agile. That means weekly sprint planning, poker planning, retrospectives, backlogs, stories — the full solution. We work together as a small team, 100% scrum based, and as little process as possible.

Must Haves:
Customer focus— Our job at the end of the day is to delight customers through technology, you need to be 100% customer focused.
Experience— At least 5 years as a backend developer showing experience in software development, architecture and design, passion for shipping services, and planning.
Big Data- Strong background in Cloud Analytics and Big Data
Cloud Technologies— Experience pushing AWS technologies to the limit and a passion to be keep on top of the latest innovations in the cloud is a must.
Scalability- Everything you do must work with customers at scale.
Passion for detail- TDD, Unit Testing, Automation, Black Box, White Box, etc. If you have an obsession with producing high quality code, you’ve come to right place.
Computer Science- You should know the fundamentals of algorithm and data structure design/selection and be able to defend your choices.
