We are growing our Backend engineering team at Routable and with that comes the opportunity to be a major contributor to the core product. You will work directly with the product and engineering teams to help shape our product and culture. It’s a unique chance to be an advocate for our steadfast coding standards, efficiency, and reliability.

We’re looking for an experienced senior backend engineer who has worked on either e-commerce or fintech systems and has a strong grasp on how payments and payment-related workflows fit together.

• excited about building infrastructure to handle the facilitation of millions of B2B payments.

• interested in contributing to the product feedback loop from design through implementation

• thrilled about working in a fast-paced start-up environment

💻 Need to have:

• You are a senior Python/Django developer with over 8 `years experience

• You’re a great communicator – you give and receive feedback constructively, and you can say no confidently

• You know the importance of writing tests and you QA your code before release

• You’ve worked with different test layers like unit, integration, and contract

• You have experience integrating with 3rd party APIs

Routable’s future will be graded by how well we integrate to other systems that your organization uses, such as:

• General Ledgers (Quickbooks, NetSuite, Xero, etc.)

• HR (Gusto, TriNet, etc.)

• Customers (Salesforce, Intercom, Zendesk)
