As Sr. API engineer, you will be working in an agile environment solving unique challenges and creating disruptive technology.

In this role you will

• Play a key role in evaluating API technology stacks and assessing their performance through prototyping
• Provide input into the design of a startup company’s line of business API, including data
• Implement and benchmark

Necessary Experience

• Hands on experience with Node JS
• Sr level experience with MongoDB – development and deployment planning
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Familiarity with REST API design, streaming API experience a bonus
• Familiarity with data structure design
• Familiarity with single page JavaScript application architecture, experience with Angular JS a bonus
• Experience with API load testing tools is desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• It would be nice if you had experience implementing *Swagger UI / Swagger Spec for RESTful API
