You love helping developers find solutions to all kinds of problems and bringing diverse groups of people together with patience and empathy. You enjoy traveling, seeing new places, and meeting new people. You want to improve our Developer Experience and making sure developers are not only inspired to use us but also equipped. You’re passionate about the computer vision space and are excited to play around with not only our product but open source frameworks such as TensorFlow, Caffe, PyTorch, and others as well.

At Clarifai we break down Developer Relations into a strategy of three C’s (Code, Content & Community).

Code: We build useful sample applications that help developers put Clarifai’s APIs into their code immediately. We also maintain the SDKs that developers use to interact with our APIs.

Content: We craft tutorials, learn pages & online videos documenting the applications that you can build and how you can use our technology to achieve your development goals. We work with the product team to write and maintain our API Documentation.

Community: We speak to developers at user groups, meetups, and conferences and in other startups and accelerators. We also lead a program called "Clarifai Captains," which is a global community of Clarifai enthusiasts looking to learn and get more experience in developer relations.

Objectives

In your first month, you will start off by learning the ropes. You will:

• Craft your first production-ready sample Clarifai Application and write your first application walkthrough on our blog. We want developers to be as passionate as we are about getting our artificial intelligence technology into their applications, whether they are personal or professional!

• Attend the first of many meetups or hackathons, where you will help showcase Clarifai and help developers use our API.

• Start making connections and developing relationships that will help you form partnerships with other accelerators and startups later in the year.

3 months later, you start putting yourself out there. You will:

• Build out and begin executing a strategy for creating awareness of our APIs to all types of developers in your region. We want to drive long-term adoption of our technology.

• Develop a plan of action for and help run the Clarifai Champions program.

• Create your first Clarifai video and use other digital channels to educate and engage developers.

6 months down the road, you will be on your way to making sure that each developer in San Francisco knows about Clarifai. You will:

• Contribute to Open Source tools that help the developer community.

• Partner with guest authors and have them publish articles on our technical blog.

In 12 months, you will have made progress towards refining programs that you have found to be the most effective, as well as mentor new evangelists on your team in SF.

In the future, you will strive to have Clarifai known by every developer in the world.

Impact

As one of Clarifai’s Developer Evangelists, you will drive global awareness, adoption, and activation of the Clarifai API.
