Varen Technologies is looking for high performer, self-starter software engineers that have exceptional development skills with the desire to keep up with language advancements. The ideal candidate has working experience with modern development languages, cancode without depending on third-party libraries and is up to date with the latest advancements, to participate in a team that will be tasked to identify and solve challenging problems to developing for/within DoD networks.

The most successful candidates will:

• Meet deadlines or exceed client’s requirements on time

• Thrive in fast paced/high stress environments

• Excel with evolving requirements

• Produce Project Plans, Road maps, Level of Efforts, Rough Order of Magnitude, etc.

• Cultivate a team of junior developers

• Encourage out of the box ideas while ensuring final proposed solution is achievable

• Primary place of performance will be at Varen Technologies Headquarters in Columbia MD with potential for teleworking on case by case basis

• Unclassified work but will maintain and/or submit for security clearance

• Ability to use online resources for development
