Role purpose:
As a Security Architect you will be responsible for designing and implementing the company’s security architecture, ensuring the protection of systems, data, and assets from threats and vulnerabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain the security architecture for all systems
- Develop security standards, patterns, and best practices
- Conduct security risk assessments and threat modeling
- Define security requirements for new systems and features
- Review code and architecture for security vulnerabilities
- Implement security controls and mitigations
- Stay current with emerging security threats and technologies
- Collaborate with development teams to implement secure designs
Requirements:
- 7 years of experience in IT security
- 3 years in security architecture or similar role
- Strong knowledge of application security, network security, and cloud security
- Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards
- Understanding of cryptography, authentication, and authorization
- Experience with secure development practices
- Security certifications CISSP, CSSLP, etc.) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
