Who you are

We are seeking a Sales Development Representative who is ready to build out the core sales team at a fast-paced, hyper-growth, venture-backed startup. You’re interested in a mission-driven impact (rebuilding manufacturing), while getting your hands dirty interacting with customers, and driving impact in a foundational industry. We’re looking for someone with an execution orientation, who can think holistically, and will have a strong impact on the trajectory of the company.

You’re eager to take on the challenges and rewards of a 100% outbound hunting role. You’re adept at writing compelling emails and social messages, but are also not afraid of the phone. You’re excited to share the vision of modern devops with automation & controls engineers, managers, and system integrators.

What you’ll do

Prospect into defined accounts with the goal of having early discovery conversations and setting meetings for Account Executives.
Constantly iterate on your multi-channel outbound approach utilizing email, social, and phone.
Effectively qualify prospects during discovery calls: understand pain points and decide if Copia is the right fit
Take insights from discovery calls and provide feedback to the rest of the sales/marketing team to improve processes and messaging

What do you need

Highly motivated with a track record of ambitious pursuing goals
Organized, outgoing, and confident, willing to jump on calls with customers
Strong alignment with Copia’s mission
Team player

Nice to have

6-12 months as an Sales Development Representative or previous sales experience
Experience/interest in manufacturing and hardware innovation
Experience with CRMs (Hubspot)
Experience with enterprise SaaS accounts
