The Role
If you’re eager to launch and grow your career in a fast‑paced, innovative setting, this is the place for you. Veeva’s Sales Development Program (SDP) is an intensive, structured path designed to develop new graduates into top‑tier Account Partners.
Our sales teams build relationships and create opportunities with leading pharmaceutical and biotech companies. To succeed in these roles, you must deeply understand Veeva’s products, the industry, and both consulting and sales skills.
The Sales Development Program moves quickly, guiding you from new graduate to Account Partner at an accelerated rate. It consists of three full‑time phases, each providing hands‑on experience and dedicated training to help you grow into a leading Account Partner.
Phase 1: You will begin as an Associate Consultant in our Consultant Development Program, learning Veeva’s products, the industry, and software implementation. You’ll work directly with customers as part of project teams, delivering solutions after the sale.
Phase 2: As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will focus on foundational sales training and business skills. You’ll use these skills to generate demand and build a sales pipeline through outbound efforts.
Phase 3: You will progress to Associate Account Partner, applying your knowledge of products, industry, consulting, and sales to build relationships through consultative selling. You’ll manage the full sales cycle—from lead development to closing deals and account management. After successfully completing this phase, you will be promoted to Account Partner, owning the sales process for your territory.
