The People team is responsible for managing all aspects of human resources at TRACTIAN, from onboarding to employee development and performance management. This department focuses on building and maintaining a strong company culture, ensuring that employees are engaged, supported, and aligned with the company’s goals. The People team also handles payroll, benefits, and employee relations, making sure that TRACTIAN attracts and retains top talent while fostering an environment of growth and collaboration.
What you’ll do
The Safety Technician will be responsible for implementing health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures at Tractian, aiming to prevent accidents, occupational diseases, and environmental impacts.
Responsibilities

    • Develop, review, and implement health, safety, and environmental procedures
    • Monitor health, safety, and environmental indicators
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards through effective actions
    • Conduct periodic workplace inspections
    • Prepare and audit APR (Risk Analysis) and PT (Work Permits) when necessary
    • Identify, assess, and propose corrective measures for occupational risks, improvements in environmental and occupational health management
    • Participate in accident and incident analyses, preparing technical reports
    • Deliver mandatory training (NR standards, internal procedures, environmental policies)
    • Support documentation required for client visits
    • Audit and analyze contractor documentation
    • Develop safety awareness campaigns
    • Manage PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
    • Manage programs such as PGR, PCMSO, LTCAT, LPE
    • Support emergency management and drills
Requirements

    • Technical degree in Occupational Safety
    • Minimum of 3 years of prior experience, preferably in industrial environments
    • Knowledge of environmental legislation
    • Experience with accident analysis and investigation tools
    • Experience with emergency management systems
    • Knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001)
    • Proficiency in intermediate to advanced Excel
    • Good communication and teamwork skills
    • Experience with issuing MRT and environmental reports
Bonus:

    • Familiarity with Power BI, Canva, Slack, SOC
