Location: United States (Remote; preference for candidates in the Midwest or East Coast)
Compensation: Base Salary + Bonus

Position Overview
We are looking for a proactive and detail‑focused Safety Specialist to join our growing team. Reporting to the Safety Manager, this role supports the execution, monitoring, and continuous improvement of safety programs across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will help strengthen our safety culture and ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety standards. Preference will be given to applicants based in the Midwest or East Coast to support operations in those regions.

Responsibilities
– Program Support: Assist with implementing safety programs and initiatives across Job&Talent’s U.S. locations, ensuring alignment with OSHA and other regulatory requirements.
– Site Inspections and Audits: Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
– Incident Management: Support investigations and reporting for incidents, accidents, and near misses. Contribute to root cause analysis and follow‑up corrective measures.
– Training and Communication: Help develop and deliver safety training for onsite staff and internal teams. Promote awareness of best practices and emergency procedures.
– Regulatory Compliance: Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations and maintain accurate safety records.
– Data and Reporting: Assist with tracking safety metrics, identifying trends, and preparing reports for internal stakeholders.
– Collaboration: Work with operations, HR, and field teams to uphold a strong safety culture and operational excellence.

Qualifications
– Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Risk Management, Environmental Health, or a related field preferred.
– Minimum of three years of experience in a staffing or light industrial environment focused on safety.
– Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and industry best practices.
– Experience supporting or implementing safety programs across multiple sites.
– Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
– Certifications such as OSHA 30, CSP, or equivalent are a plus.
