FlyFlat is hiring a full-time Junior Operations Associate for FlyFlat, a flight concierge and travel advisory company.

About Frontier: At Frontier, we help businesses grow by staffing full-time, cross-functional teams abroad. We recruit top talent and place them in leading companies. To date, we’ve made more than 800 placements across 50 US-based startups and high-growth companies.

About the client (FlyFlat): FlyFlat is a luxury travel platform offering exceptional deals on long-haul, international, business-class, and first-class tickets. On average, FlyFlat saves clients 35% off retail prices, with the largest savings available for last-minute and flexible travel, reaching up to 80% off. We’ve built a global network of travel partners that allows access to booking options and inventory not available to the public, often through arbitraging credit card miles and points. When mileage offers aren’t available, we use proprietary “hidden city” fare strategies, gift card arbitrage, and net fares to ensure clients continue to pay less. Since 2017, clients have returned to FlyFlat for its customer service excellence, strong follow-through, and reliable execution—even for highly time-sensitive travel needs. Joining FlyFlat means becoming part of a team focused on transforming how people travel. If you’re growth-minded and passionate about driving customer acquisition and revenue growth, we invite you to apply and help shape the future of luxury air travel.

Role Overview: FlyFlat is seeking a full-time Sabre Air Booking Expert to manage complex international flight bookings for discerning clients, with patience and a service-first attitude. The ideal candidate has at least intermediate written and spoken English. This is a remote role with standard business hours aligned to EST. Expected monthly take-home pay is $1,000–$1,500, depending on experience and company profitability that month.

Responsibilities:
– Provide and maintain the required airline and departmental documentation.
– Book passenger flights in Sabre GDS.
– Help passengers secure preferred seats and update itineraries with Mileage numbers, TSA PreCheck, and Global Entry details.
– Deliver excellent customer service through chat and email for a smooth, positive client experience.
– Respond to email and GDS queue inquiries professionally and concisely within the agreed service level agreement.
– Accurately interpret flight requirements using a variety of sources.
– Negotiate and ticket group contracts.
– Proactively suggest improvements to the booking process.

Qualifications:
– At least 3 years of Sabre experience with booking and ticketing.
– Experience with other GDS systems is helpful.
– Strong written communication skills.
– Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
– Strong multitasking and prioritization skills, especially during busy or chaotic periods.
– Familiarity with airline industry policies.
– Ability to think creatively when searching for fares and troubleshooting issues.
– Proficiency with Microsoft tools, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
– Strong attention to detail.
– Ability to explain complex travel topics clearly to clients and teammates.
– Flexibility and willingness to grow as the company evolves.
– Access to a quiet, distraction-free workspace with reliable internet connectivity.

Nice-to-have Experience:
– Client-facing experience.
– Experience in other travel-industry roles.
– International travel experience.
– Remote work experience.
– Interest in and knowledge of airline or credit card loyalty programs.

Compensation:
– Base salary: $800–$1,200 (depending on experience with booking flights in Sabre and serving high-end clients).
– Commissions: 3% of all gross profits, split among the team of Sabre Air Booking Experts and Customer Service Associates. For a typical month with $75,000 in gross profit, you can expect more than $200 per month in commission. Since the business is growing quickly, we expect commissions to continue increasing.
– Expected monthly take-home: $1,000–$1,500, depending on experience level and monthly profitability.

Work Schedule: Full-time. Results-focused work is required—for example, if you’re mid-booking for a client, you must successfully hand off the booking to another team member before fully signing off. More successful bookings generally result in higher monthly commission.

Location: Remote
