About the Role:

We are seeking a Front-End Software Engineer to join an innovative AI-driven SaaS startup focused on transforming research and knowledge management. You’ll play a key role in developing and optimizing responsive, user-centric web interfaces using ReactJS and modern JavaScript technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain web applications using ReactJS, ensuring performance and responsiveness across devices
• Implement clean, maintainable code using HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript (ES6+)
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and create responsive designs
• Work with RESTful APIs and handle asynchronous requests effectively
• Manage application state using libraries like Redux or similar
• Participate in Agile development processes, sprint planning, and code reviews
• Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Contribute to front-end testing strategies using JavaScript testing frameworks

Must Have:

• 2+ years of demonstrated experience in frontend development
• Proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
• Strong experience with ReactJS, including key fundamentals (JSX, Virtual DOM, lifecycle methods)
• Familiarity with state management libraries such as Redux
• Solid experience working with RESTful services/APIs
• Good understanding of asynchronous programming (Promises, async/await)
• Familiar with JavaScript testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha)
• Proficient with Git and version control best practices
• Understanding of web performance optimization techniques
• Comfortable working in Agile development teams
