The Role
Veeva Vault Safety is a modern system for managing individual case safety reports (ICSRs), supporting the intake, processing, and submission of adverse events for both clinical and post‑marketed products.

We are looking for an experienced and detail‑oriented Technical Release Manager to join our team. In this position, you will work with a group of release managers and quality analysts for Veeva Vault Safety. You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of software releases, ensuring seamless product deployments for our customers. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, people management abilities, excellent organizational skills, and the capacity to work effectively with cross‑functional teams.

What You’ll Do
• Work with development, QA, and operations teams to plan, schedule, and oversee software releases
• Define and refine release processes and methodologies, promoting continuous improvement
• Coordinate release tasks such as version control, feature branching, code merging, and deployments
• Communicate release plans, updates, and status to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Identify and mitigate risks in the release cycle, addressing bottlenecks proactively
• Ensure all documentation, release notes, and communications are prepared and delivered for each release
• Track release performance and gather feedback to enhance release processes
• Manage post‑release efforts including issue tracking, bug resolution, and customer support
• Keep current with industry trends and recommend innovative approaches to release management

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 8+ years of experience as a Release Manager or similar role, with a strong record of delivering SaaS product releases
• Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall
• Proficiency with version control, CI/CD tools, and automation technologies (e.g., Git, Kibana, Jenkins)
• Strong project management skills, including task prioritization and deadline management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience collaborating across teams
• Analytical problem‑solving skills and a focus on process optimization
• Experience with release management tools is a plus
• Experience working with globally distributed teams

Nice to Have
• Background in the health sciences or life sciences industry
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms, and with shell or other scripting languages
• Experience in a product‑based environment

Compensation
• Base salary range: $100,000 – $175,000
• This range is provided to comply with local regulations and reflects potential compensation for this role. Actual salaries may vary depending on experience and location. Offers are based on individual skills, experience, and expected impact. Additional compensation such as bonuses or stock awards may also apply.
