We are looking for a driven full-stack software developer, responsible for building web applications using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. You will be exposed to numerous start-ups working in various fields, and will report directly to the cofounders, all very much experienced in web development and entrepreneurship.

Location of the internship:  Santiago de Chile, Chile

Duration of the Internship:  Starting date: ASAP  Duration: 6 months

Compensation:  Up to $1,500 USD (based on demonstrated experience)  Performance-related bonus  Can lead to a full-time position

Main Responsibilities:

 Work, together with our senior developers on building back-end web services in Rails  Write automated tests that conform to user stories  Work with front-end JavaScript and integrate HTML/CSS. Identify app improvement and implement them  Develop new features for the web platform

Required profile and skills:

 2+ years experience developing, deploying, and scaling Ruby applications (junior profiles will be considered)  Experience with Rails  Experience building scalable web applications & performance optimization  Excellent knowledge in JavaScript and JavaScript Frameworks  Excellent knowledge in version control with Git  Experience with Agile Methodologies  Good knowledge of HTML5 & CSS3  A University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related subject is a real plus  Strong preference given to those who demonstrate and have passion for personal / side projects  Entrepreneurial attitude  Autonomous, hard worker
