All our services are build around integrated remote-teams. For one of our clients (innovative Fintech located in Germany) we are setting up a new team and that is the reason why I am reaching out to you.
Our teams consist of about 4-5 experienced engineers and about 2 quality assurance experts. In this team, you will be working on a greenfield Ruby on Rails application that involves fairly complicated backend integration work, but also a feature-rich frontend. We’ll use Vue.js in a progressive approach to get the most out of good old server-side rendering and fancy browser-side apps. We may also consider Hotwire – that depends on your advice as well.
In the team you will:
- Develop full-stack RoR code
- Cover your code with decent test-coverage
- Create stunning UX with Vue.js
- Be part of the decision making process regarding software architecture and engineering processes

We are 100% remote and you can basically work from everywhere you feel most productive and happy. The customer is located in Europe so a substantial coverage of Europe’s business hours (3+/- hours) will be very helpful to gain traction.
You have:
- At least 5 years’ experience in developing Ruby on Rails
- At least 2 years experience in Vue.js and greater JS
- Experiences in modern cloud-native applications
- No fear to fight also K8S
- Proficiency in English and maybe know some German as well
- Hands-on mentality – you are enjoying development, refactoring, debugging, testing, and exploration
- A high quality awareness and you are very accurate and structured
