Job Description

Maple is reinventing how parents receive help on any given day. To accomplish this we are looking for a backend engineer to work on our Ruby on Rails app building out our GraphQL and REST API’s to support new and existing client functionality.

You will be responsible for

• Implementing new API’s and data models to support product features.
• Iterating on, bug fixing, and optimizing existing code.
• Upgrading required libraries and refactoring as needed.
• Iteratively shipping to production daily.

Relevant Experience

• Worked on well-tested scalable Ruby on Rails apps.
• Built or added to existing GraphQL API’s.
• Built or added to existing Rest API’s.
• Minitest.
• Postgres or MySQL.
• Sidekiq & Redis.
• Experience with Git and Github.
• Familiarity with OAuth 2.0 login flows.

Bonus Experience

• Heroku.
• HTML / CSS.
• React / React Native.
