Job Title: Level 3 Storage and Backup Engineer (Rubrik & Cohesity)

Key Responsibilities
• Manage and support the backend infrastructure for multiple backup environments using Cohesity, Commvault, and other platforms.
• Build new backup environments.
• Serve as an escalation point for issues related to backup clients.
• Evaluate existing storage systems and develop strategies for improvement and modernization.
• Maintain and apply patches to current Commvault and Cohesity environments.
• Provide support to Backup Administrators and troubleshoot complex problems.
• Work with managed service providers to ensure stable and dependable storage and backup operations.
• Conduct capacity planning, utilization reviews, and optimization for storage systems.
• Integrate different storage technologies (SAN, NAS, Object Storage) with enterprise backup tools.
• Ensure data protection, backup, and disaster recovery processes are fully functional.
• Participate in cross-functional infrastructure planning across VMware, Network, Linux, and Windows environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications
• Storage management experience with NetApp, Dell Isilon, and Data Domain.
• Hands-on expertise with Veritas NetBackup, Commvault, and Cohesity.
• Strong understanding of NFS, CIFS, iSCSI, FC, RAID, and Object Storage.
• Preferred experience with automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell, Python, Shell, and Ansible.
• Experience managing large-scale enterprise and hybrid environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with at least two of the following: Commvault, Cohesity, Rubrik.
• Relevant certifications in storage technologies, Commvault, Cohesity, or Rubrik.
• Background working in ITIL-driven or similar operational environments.
