At Blue Bottle, our purpose is to connect people through exceptional coffee. From the farm to the final cup, we strive to elevate the craft at every stage. We’re dedicated to building a better future by investing in what truly matters: a sustainable path for our team, our company, and the planet.

About the Job
We’re seeking enthusiastic coffee lovers and customer service pros to join our new Kiosk opening at the Roseville Galleria in March.

Our move into instant coffee was driven by the belief that great coffee should be within everyone’s reach. With a product we trust and love, we’ve eliminated many traditional barriers—big spaces, heavy equipment, and complex brewing methods. Yet the essentials remain unchanged across our Cafes and instant kiosks: careful attention to crafting excellent coffee and offering warm, thoughtful service.

At Blue Bottle, a Barista is someone who cares deeply about coffee, food, sustainability, and creating meaningful guest experiences grounded in respect and hospitality. We invite you to grow with us and help build community through coffee.

You will
• Support your team by taking pride in the tasks that keep the cafe or Kiosk running smoothly, such as cleaning, dishwashing, sweeping, dusting, mopping, organizing condiment stations, and taking out trash
• Build community by sharing your passion and knowledge of coffee with guests and encouraging teammates to do the same
• Provide outstanding hospitality to guests, teammates, vendors, and suppliers
• Prepare and serve a variety of delicious beverages using multiple brewing methods
• Prepare and serve tasty food
• Stay up-to-date on Blue Bottle’s food and beverage offerings and preparation methods, continually growing your knowledge through tastings and training
• Regularly taste Blue Bottle beverages to maintain quality standards and refine your palate
• Contribute to company-wide sustainability efforts
• Follow all health, food safety, and general safety protocols
• Help maintain a safe, respectful workplace

You are
• Looking for a career in food and beverage with a dynamic, growing company
• Passionate about coffee, food, and creating welcoming, inclusive experiences
• Reliable and punctual, consistently ready to give your best
• Thoughtful and able to anticipate guests’ needs
• Detail-oriented, dedicated to improving your craft, and aware of the power of a great cup of coffee or plate of food
• Eager to take on new challenges with a positive, can-do attitude
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and at least 18 years old

You have
• Basic math and computer skills
• A flexible schedule, including availability for mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

A few benefits we offer
• Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage for eligible employees starting day one
• Industry-leading coffee training and ongoing education
• Free Specialty Coffee Association membership and event discounts
• 401(k) plan
• Paid time off and paid volunteer hours
• 50% discount on all in-store and online products
• Two free drinks per shift for Kiosk team members
• Flexible spending and commuter benefits
• Employee Assistance Program

Compensation
• Starting at $20.00 per hour plus tips averaging about $5.00–$9.00 per hour

Physical expectations for this role
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, whether behind the bar or throughout the Kiosk
• Use of hands for precise tasks, including operating equipment and registers
• Ability to squat, bend, twist, and reach items stored above or below
• Ability to lift, push, pull, carry, or move up to 50 pounds, including bags of beans, milk crates, dish tubs, or trash bins
• Occasional climbing of ladders, stairs, ramps, or uneven surfaces
• Ability to taste and smell coffee and food for quality checks
• Ability to listen and speak clearly to communicate with guests and teammates
