Why does this role exist
As our first dedicated Business Planning & Revenue Associate hire, you will turn company‑level growth targets into an execution‑ready operating plan, keep leadership aligned with real‑time insights, and act as the connective tissue between all the GTM teams.
Responsibilties
- Lead the top‑down + bottom‑up process to build the revenue operating plan, headcount plan and quota targets; run scenario models and sensitivity analyses.
- Build and continuously improve dashboards and source‑of‑truth reporting for monthly/quarterly business and OKR reviews.
- Translate raw funnel, productivity, and product-usage data into clear, actionable insights and root-cause narratives.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Product and CX to quantify opportunities, size gaps and recommend levers (pricing, hiring, incentive design, new markets, etc.).
- Directly support the founders and answer day-to-day business queries.
Requirements
- 4 – 6 years in Revenue/GTM Operations, Strategy & BizOps, Business Insights within a B2B SaaS. Alternatively, an experience from the VC/Private Equity/ Investment Banking sector where you covered the B2B SaaS sector and led multiple due diligence in this space.
- Hands‑on expertise with Spreadsheets (Advanced), SQL or Python, and a modern BI stack (e.g., Looker, Tableau).
- A deep interest and understanding of the upcoming AI tech stack will be highly desirable.
- Proven track record building annual revenue & headcount models and reconciling plan vs. actuals at ±5 % accuracy.
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math or related; MBA or advanced analytics degree a plus.
Success metrics
- AOP Accuracy: Total ARR, new bookings and net retention within ±20 % of plan.
- Forecast Agility: Implement a rolling quarterly operating plan recalibration process that can be refreshed in < 48 hours.
- Dashboard Adoption: 90 % of GTM leaders use your dashboards at least weekly.
