Degreed is seeking a Senior Accounts Receivable & Revenue Analyst with a focus on SAAS customer billing and collections. This position will have the opportunity to make a direct and positive impact on a quickly growing SaaS company. This candidate should be comfortable analyzing data, communicating with customers, and utilizing various customer billing portals. This candidate should be self-directed, detail oriented, committed, and passionate about being part of a high-performing team. You will report to the VP Corporate Controller and perform the following responsibilities as directed. Day in the Life
Work across departments to manage all facets of the customer invoicing process, including reviewing opportunities in SalesForce, creating customer invoices, and submitting those invoices to customers
Manage customer collections efforts, including payment collection and application, AR aging analysis, and follow up with customers regarding delinquent balances
Maintain all customer data within NetSuite including customer contracts, contact information, and payment terms. Customer data should be reviewed and scrubbed regularly to ensure its integrity
Perform variance analyses into current processes and results, identify trends, and recommend actions for continual improvement
Assist in the monthly financial statement close process in various capacities
Fulfill all customer-related requests, including supplier set up forms, RFPs, and requests for banking information
Provide support and analyses for various finance-related projects as needed
Assist with all financial audits
Other duties as assigned
Who You Are
5-7 years of Finance/Account experience in a similar capacity, experience within a SaaS organization is preferred
Experience with NetSuite highly preferred
International billing experience, including foreign currency
Strong excel proficiency
Fundamental understanding of SAAS revenue recognition principles
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly grasp and apply analytical concepts, particularly those commonly used in SaaS/Enterprise Software companies
