Role Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, detail‑oriented Registered Nurse who believes in reproductive justice, applies trauma‑informed care principles, and is motivated to expand access to safe, patient‑centered abortion care via telemedicine.
In this position, you will offer direct clinical support to patients using medication abortion. Working remotely, you will answer medical inquiries, complete timely triage and clinical assessments, and provide personalized nursing guidance. You will help ensure every patient feels understood, supported, and cared for through culturally sensitive, evidence‑based care.
This is a full‑time Registered Nurse role.
• Schedule: 10‑hour shifts, 12 pm–10 pm ET / 9 am–7 pm PT
• Workdays: Wednesday through Saturday
• Compensation: 90,000–93,000 USD
• Expected start date: August 2026
Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience (BSN required), ideally including telehealth
• At least 1 year of experience in abortion care or reproductive health
• Active nursing license, including California and at least one of the following: CO, IL, MI, NJ, NV, NY, OH, VA, or a compact license plus CA
• Strong skills in clinical assessment and triage with sound real‑time decision‑making
• Excellent communication abilities, offering clear, empathetic support via chat and virtual visits during stressful moments
• Ability to adhere to clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and organizational care and documentation policies
• Comfort using digital platforms and technology for virtual care delivery
• Experience offering trauma‑informed, patient‑centered care
• Dedication to reproductive justice and expanding access to abortion
• Ability to excel in a mission‑driven, fast‑moving startup environment
• Interest in ongoing process improvement
• Spanish proficiency preferred
Compensation: 90,000–93,000 USD annually, plus equity
