Join our team as a Workday Finance Consultant, where you will use your Workday knowledge to deliver high-quality consulting services to our higher education clients. As a 1099 project-based consultant, you will have the flexibility of working remotely while supporting the success of leading institutions.
CampusWorks consultants collaborate with higher education clients to help them make the most of their people, processes, policies, and technology. We partner with both functional and technical teams, as well as our CampusWorks colleagues, to assess current processes, design ideal future-state workflows, and develop, test, train, and launch solutions that exceed client expectations.
Workday Finance consultants work as part of a dedicated CampusWorks team focused on helping clients fully utilize Workday’s features and capabilities. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and problem‑solving skills along with extensive experience using, implementing, or consulting on Workday Finance in a higher education setting. Expertise may include areas such as FDM, general accounting, banking setup and reconciliations, cash management, financial and position budgets, procurement, contracts, projects, grants and awards, assets, accounts payable, travel and expense management, and reporting.
Qualifications
• Deep Workday Finance experience (higher education, ERP implementation, or consulting experience strongly preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
• Experience partnering with senior leaders as a trusted advisor preferred
• Familiarity with project management methodologies or process mapping tools preferred
• Reporting, analytics, or business intelligence experience preferred
