We operate anywhere in the world, backed by dedicated support every day of the year.We’re looking for a UI Designer to partner with a UX Designer on our ZeroOps delivery platform, Lagoon. We’re expanding the design and development team around Lagoon to help it become a world-leading platform for application deployments for both technical and non-technical users. You’ll play a key role in transforming Lagoon from a tool built for developers into a market-ready, intuitively designed platform. This means implementing design and interaction improvements, turning the UX designer’s work into engaging UI, and then collaborating with the Front End Developer on the final implementation. We have exciting new directions for our interfaces and integrations, with the goal of delivering a more complete experience for all our users.

What you’ll be doing:
- Creating, improving, and implementing wireframes, prototypes, and style guides to deliver a unique but consistent experience using our tools
- Developing a design system and set of components to guide future UI development
- Working closely with developers to define the look and feel of our products and ensure a high level of quality and usability
- Promoting and shaping a design culture at amazee.io, helping define the interactions users across all levels have with our products and tools
- Creating branding guidelines and design specifications for other team members (or the community) to follow
What you’ll bring:
- Experience designing technical products
- Proven track record of digital interface design for web/admin interfaces
- Experience using design tools (Inkscape, Illustrator, Sketch) and prototyping tools (InVision, Figma, etc.)
- Ability to communicate design and technical topics in English, both verbally and in writing
- A strong eye for aesthetics and customer appeal
