Piton Labs is seeking a highly motivated business development professional to help us enter our next stage of growth. As the first person in this role, you will be instrumental in expanding our customer base and creating new strategic partnerships. We prefer candidates located in time zones between GMT-8 (US West Coast) and GMT-3, but we will consider others on a case-by-case basis.
**RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTATIONS**
You will support the entire sales process—from the first contact to closing—working alongside the founding team. While you don’t need deep technical expertise, a strong understanding of software development and the tech industry will help you communicate our value effectively.
Your key responsibilities include:
– Prospecting and reaching out to potential new customers
– Representing Piton Labs at meetings, events, and conferences
– Developing and executing focused sales strategies for our primary markets (startups and enterprise innovation)
– Partnering with the engineering team to share customer needs and market insights
– Building and sustaining long-term customer relationships
– Giving presentations and demos that clearly show how our solutions address customer challenges

You are ambitious and have strong experience in business development. You naturally build relationships and know how to grow them over time. You particularly stand out if you have:

**GENERAL REQUIREMENTS**
– Native-level English
– 4+ years of experience in business development, preferably in the tech industry
– Demonstrated success in acquiring new customers
**REMOTE WORK**
– Fully remote role, no office location
– Preferred: candidates based in the United States with work authorization
– Secondary preference: candidates from Canada, Uruguay, or Paraguay
– Ability to overlap 4–6 hours per day with US time zones (Eastern Time)
– Ideal for digital nomads—no fixed workspace required
