We’re looking for a Frontend Developer to join our remote team. In this role, you’ll work with a UX designer and a UI designer on our core ZeroOps application delivery product, Lagoon. You’ll be instrumental in evolving Lagoon from a tool designed for developers into a market-ready, intuitively designed platform. This will involve implementing design and interaction improvements and turning the work of UX and UI designers into high-quality, working code. We also have exciting new directions for our interfaces and integrations to deliver a more complete experience for all users.

What you’ll be doing:
– Revitalizing our React-based Lagoon UI and improving the integration between it and our GraphQL API
– Taking ownership of the full development lifecycle for UI components across their iterations
– Implementing a design system and a set of components to guide future UI development
– Building iterations of the UI and components as React Native plugins for third-party applications
– Collaborating with our UI, product, and engineering teams to design, develop, and iterate prototypes for upcoming features

What you’ll bring:
– Experience with React, React Native, and GraphQL development
– Experience integrating backend technologies (e.g., server-side rendering and single sign-on)
– An understanding of how to implement and maintain design systems
– Ability to perform end-to-end JavaScript testing and ensure compatibility
– Experience delivering features using feature flags, phased rollouts, and A/B testing
– Comfort communicating technical topics in English, both verbally and in writing
