What You’ll Be Doing:

• Develop automations and tools (using Python and AI models) to optimize regulatory monitoring and reporting processes.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk, Product, and Engineering teams to anticipate regulatory demands and build scalable tech solutions.
• Analyze and monitor regulatory developments in the financial and payments sectors, proposing technical solutions to compliance challenges.
• Implement AI-driven solutions for document analysis, regulatory tracking, and process optimization.
• Support initiatives such as Open Banking, PIX, and regulations related to Payment and Financial Institutions with a technology-first approach.
• Build KPIs and compliance-related metrics.
• Enhance compliance programs using AI and automation.
• Work on cross-functional projects, applying technology to accelerate regulatory responses and drive smarter compliance decisions.

What You Need to Succeed:

• Experience in Payment Institutions, acquirers, sub-acquirers, fintechs, or financial services, with strong regulatory understanding.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Python (scripting, data manipulation, automation).
• Familiarity with applying AI/ML models to compliance or operational processes.
• Ability to navigate regulatory frameworks and develop tech-driven compliance solutions.
• Fluency in Portuguese and advanced English.
• Knowledge of regulations applicable to Type 3 Conglomerates, SCFI, and Payment Institution frameworks.
• Experience with financial institution licensing processes and/or familiarity with U. S. regulations is a plus
