Overview
Red Canary has chosen to participate in the Department of Defense’s Skillbridge Program. We’re honored to support service members as they transition from active duty to civilian careers. Our goal is to provide both general skills (such as resume building, interview preparation, and peer support) and technical skills (including cybersecurity operations, analysis, and engineering) to help participants succeed after separation. We also hope to build a strong pipeline of opportunities for veterans to join our growing team.
To qualify for the Skillbridge Program, you must currently be on active duty in the U.S. military and plan to separate within the next year.
Program Overview
General Skills and Canary Veteran Mentor
We believe that teaching Skillbridge candidates how to land a job is just as important as teaching them how to perform one. Every candidate will be paired with a Skillbridge Mentor—selected from our community of Canary Veterans—who will:
– Guide the candidate throughout the Red Canary program
– Provide feedback and support on career goals
– Assist with external job searches by sharing their own transition experience
– Conduct mock interviews
– Help coordinate resume review support
Specialized Skills and Cybersecurity Focus
Many military occupational specialties translate well to roles at Red Canary, but our initial Skillbridge offering centers on our core strength: cybersecurity. We’ve built a program that exposes candidates to a range of technical and security disciplines used at Red Canary and across the industry.
At this time, we are only accepting candidates with current cybersecurity operational experience focused on Managed Detection and Response.
The program lasts 4–6 months.
