- You’ve spent at least 3 years working with frontend frameworks, developed a range of applications, and understand the strengths and weaknesses of each framework.

YOUR REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
- At least 3 years of commercial experience.
- Strong command of modern JavaScript and browser fundamentals (including quirks), as well as stylesheets and DOM manipulation.
- Prior commercial experience building component-based web applications.
- A practical development approach that emphasizes reusing shared components and open-source solutions instead of reinventing everything.
- In-depth knowledge of the ReactJS ecosystem, including Redux, Redux-Saga, Reselect, and Styled Components.
- A strong appreciation for good UI/UX and the ability to turn wireframes into high-quality, reusable code.
- Comfort with different ways of storing and structuring data (e.g., Immutable Structures).
- Understanding of test-driven development using tools such as Jest.
- Experience with in-browser debugging and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with common development tools like Git, Babel, Create-React-App, and Yarn for some time.
- Some experience with React Native, even if it was just a small demo or side project.
- A startup mindset (ambition, flexibility, and a willingness to experiment).
- You can work and communicate with your teammates during our core hours (11am to 4pm German time).
SKILLS THAT WOULD BE A PLUS
- Knowledge of some of the newest ECMAScript features.
- If you’ve worked with web workers and/or progressive web apps, you’ll be able to contribute quickly by bringing new skills to the team.
- Some exposure to TypeScript.
- Mobile development experience in one or both of the iOS and Android ecosystems.
- Commercial React Native experience.
- Experience iteratively modernizing or upgrading an older codebase to a newer platform (we are currently migrating BackboneJS to ReactJS).
- Regularly contributes to or authors open-source projects.
