The Role
Veeva Link is looking for a mid‑ to senior‑level Front End Engineer (React) to help design and develop innovative new web applications. You will work with cutting‑edge technologies and contribute to new product development within a fast‑growing, well‑established company. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer eager to deepen their career, passionate about search, problem‑solving, ownership, and working with technologies such as React, Python, AWS, and Elasticsearch.

You must be based in the UK and eligible to work there, as Veeva does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.

What You’ll Do
• Build scalable web applications with open‑source tools and technologies
• Work with REST and GraphQL APIs
• Operate independently while keeping the team updated on progress
• Lead technical planning, user story creation, and implementation
• Diagnose and fix complex issues
• Design technical architectures that minimize performance challenges, complexity, and fragility
• Implement front‑end features from mock‑ups or visual designs
• Create responsive front‑end interfaces using modern development practices

Requirements
• 3+ years of experience developing scalable, reliable web applications
• Experience with React or a similar JavaScript framework
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
• Skills in unit testing and debugging
• Self‑motivated and able to work independently
• Strong English communication skills

Nice to Have
• Experience with Python, Django, AWS or other cloud providers, any RDBMS, Elasticsearch, or Redis
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
