Our ecommerce and direct sales plaform is a Railsmicro service architecture, designed and built greenfield, is now being extended with complex new features formultiple brands. Since launch a year ago, the platform is already driving$500k sales days.

Our team is 20 globally distributed developers/qa split into 3 sub teams. We’re looking for someone to be the technical lead for one of these teams and to represent the plaform as a whole.

You’ll be:

• Solving hard technical problems

• Optimising code for performance

• Making smart architecture decisions, code-reviewing team-members code to ensure quality

• Managing the technical side of the development process

• Working closely with Product Management to plan delivery in a smart way

• Taking ownerships of critical production applications – coordinating releases, ensuring quality, handling issues

• Working with a large, fast moving team (working 11am – 8pm Central European time)

• Ensuring the robustness, performance and failure characteristics of the system.

• Working on fast iteration cycles and tight deadlines using an agile/scrum methodology

• Hands-on writing well tested, defect free code with CI/CD and rspec tests
