What problems will I solve?

You’ll build software which over 2,000 websites use to sell insurance. You’llmake the process as frictionless as possible and add more insurance products to the platform.

What technologies will I work with?

We use Rails for our API, Heroku as a PaaS, MySQL, a myriad of gems, and Vue.

What will my day-to-day look like?

You’ll be contributing to our codebase in week one and ideally lead the backend engineering within a few months. You’ll work with the technical founder on product decisions, implementation strategy, and with the lead front-end engineer. We’ll be programming on a video call most of the day.

What skills should I have?

You should have at least two years of professional Rails experience.

What qualities should I have?

The right candidatewillhave the ability to bring passion to their programing work while growing the company. We want someone who has as an eye for details and has a high standard for their work.
