POSITION SUMMARY

Are you an experienced and motivated QA Engineer? If so, come join Cordial where you’ll work directly embedded in a highly empowered team consisting of Product, Designers, and Software Engineers to help build Cordial’s enterprise messaging platform. You’ll be included in requirements gathering, design review, scrum meetings, demos, use case discussions, as well as functional, integration and performance testing. We’re looking for a fast learner with a strong sense of ownership and motivation to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.

This position will be fully remote based in Europe.

YOU WILL

Define the scope of testing within your responsibility and according to priorities.

Develop and execute manual and automated test cases.

Identify and clearly document issues and enhancements providing impact analysis.

Communicate the test results to the team.

Give recommendations on release candidates.

Assist developers with issue analysis and bug fixes.

Participate in regression testing (both manual and automated).

Participate in Scrum teams by interfacing closely with Product, Developer’s and other QA engineers.

Coordinate with other engineering squads to establish and incorporate best practices across the organization.

Support Product teams with QA planning.

ABOUT YOU

3+ years of experience in a software related role.

Knowledge of software development lifecycle.

Experience in testing multi-tiered applications; experience in testing web-delivered applications.

Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and debug tools.

MongoDB and Elasticsearch experience a plus.

Strong investigation skills.

Stellar communication skills and readiness to contribute into internal documentation.

Ability to approach testing from the end user’s perspective.

A curious mind-set with a strong attention to detail.

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Fluent English.

$65,000 — $120,000/year
