Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product and Design on requirement gathering, user stories and persona development

• Create and manage testing scripts for manually tested features

• Be meticulous about documentation and maintaining a robust log of all test cases and test results

• Coordinate with Product team on validating builds for release

• Work to automate testing, where applicable, to accelerate testing and promote consistency

• Stay current with the fast-changing landscape of manual/automated testing and best practices

• Support and troubleshoot issues, identify root cause, and proactively work with developers to find sustainable solutions

• Evaluate new and existing frameworks, technology, platforms, and tooling, as appropriate

• Integrate test reporting into Jira, Confluence and other platforms

• Drive quality standards for product

Experience and Skills

A candidate is expected to meet the following minimum requirements:

• 3+ years in software testing and/or testing automation

• Previous experience testing web-based and mobile applications

• At least 1 year of experience with testing automation tools, using Cucumber or equivalent

• Detailed and methodical approach to testing, tracking issues

• Constantly evaluate and improve existing processes

• Provide detailed feedback for developers for issues

• Knowledge of design and UX principles for mobile interfaces

• Organized, self-starting with excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience developing and maintaining unit/functional tests

• Ability to effectively manage up, down, and across organizational structures

We especially want to work with you if you are good at:

• Experience testing RESTful APIs, especially automated testing

• Experience in developing for Android, iOS and/or Angular

• Taking ownership of all products, processes and suggesting ways to improve

• Experience with CI tools such as AWS CodePipeline

• Being flexible and working well in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
