The Role
As a Software Project Manager, you will be reporting to the Managing Director, working closely with a culturally diverse team of developers, UX designers and fellow Project Managers to deliver an exceptional service to our clients. Each day will be different. You will be hands-on, ensuring everything runs smoothly, including:
- Managing expansion projects for our client’s bespoke software applications
- Conducting client meetings to communicate progress, run demos, review priorities and resolving general support requests
- Overseeing the estimation process
- Continuously monitoring budgets, comparing budget versus actual time spent, updating clients and proactively managing their expectations
- Writing user stories and acceptance criteria
- Creating and maintaining project documentation and project boards
- Leading daily team stand-ups, identifying impediments and helping to eliminate them
- Testing to ensure we are delivering quality work
- Writing blog posts and contributing to process improvements
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Experience in project management of bespoke software development, e-commerce sites or websites
- Worked on or would be comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously with a varied workload
- Worked in an agency or consultancy
- A technical background or passion for technology
- A curiosity and a desire to understand how things work, with a strong ability to problem-solve
