ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Your attention to detail is impeccable—each comma, each logo. As a member of the fast-paced, multi-disciplinary Global Packaging team you’ll use creativity and experience to solve a variety of challenges. Collaboratively, you’ll transform requirements into production-ready packaging.

Modestly, you own your domain expertise. Your background should include, but not be limited to, artwork asset management, printed packaging production and color consistency within a consumer packaged goods (CPG) environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Project Manager, Packaging Development at JUUL Labs leads program delivery efforts with enthusiasm, collaboration, and attention to detail. Further, she/he is motivated by elevating quality and capabilities for speed-to-market. The daily goal is to drive excellence in communication through clear requirements and comprehensive timelines with regular progress updates. Project Managers, Packaging Development, will take direct ownership of mission critical projects and be required to produce results in a timely manner.

Distill objectives into actionable results every day

Facilitate decision making, bridge communication and escalate when necessary

Partner with key teams including Commercial, Engineering, Legal, Brand and Regulatory to ensure packaging objectives are met in a timely manner

Work to create and maintain the program schedule, ensuring key milestones from different disciplines are aligned

Assess historical performance to drive continuous improvement of future performance

Ensure correct packaging BOM set-up in product lifecycle (PLM) systems

Participate in writing and presenting Packaging project initiation requests

Proactively identify and manage project opportunities/ issues/ risks

Review Packaging assets files for accuracy and completeness

Responsible for project close-out processes

PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

5+ years of experience leading cross-functional teams for sustaining and new packaging efforts

Experience in high-volume consumer packaged goods (CPG)

Validation of print technologies including pre-press, proofing and final production

Experience with packaging design process, systems and tools

Detail oriented, highly organized both personally and at the team/project level

Launch and maintenance of international products

Ability to listen and learn

Attention to detail in rapid development cycles with challenging goals

Ability to influence and motivate a diverse set of people and expectations

Ability to distill opinions into facts to produce better results

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s degree and/or other relevant experience in packaging technology, product development or artwork management
