Who is 64 Robots?

Founded in 2016, 64 Robots is a full service software agency focused on creating beautiful, clean Vue.js single page applications with a Laravel backend. We like to think of ourselves as an extension of our customer’s teams. Whether that’s building an AAA product, consulting on their business and marketing needs, or helping them pitch to an investor, we are deeply invested in our customer’s success.

We’ve grown considerably in our 6+ years and we are working on a number of diverse projects. We are a small agency — with a staff of around 30 people, including 3 designers and 3 project managers, we’re looking at bringing in a Part Time Project Manager to help us manage our increasing workload.

Requirements

We have about 6-8 ongoing projects at any time so ideally you’ll be able to jump in and help us manage a few of those. What that means is:

• Working closely with our founders to understand and execute our vision with clients

• Maintaining open lines of communication and acting as the conduit between our clients and the development team. Collaborating with both teams to execute the project’s vision

• Managing the backlog for your assigned projects. Creating well defined requirements and prioritizing the customer’s needs appropriately

• Creating and communicating well thought out, reasonable timelines to customers to create trust in our team

• Being able to work with developers to understand their needs and translate them into client friendly lingo

• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage time effectively

• Great attention to detail

• Ability to build rapport with clients easily. The position requires a friendly, yet professional demeanor

• You thrive wearing many hats and working collaboratively

Qualifications:

• Native English speaker, US or Canada Based, OR overlapping with US time zones

• Previous experience in a similar Mid to Senior Level role managing ongoing, agile software projects

• Agency experience or demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects at once is required

• Software development experience OR a deep understanding of how to think like a developer and understand complex technical requirements. This is key!

• Any experience with PHP/Laravel/Vue.js/Nuxt.js is a bonus

Salary & Benefits:

• Hourly rate of $35-$50 (depending on experience)

• This position would start at 20 hours per week as that’s what the projects require now, but could grow

• 3 weeks of paid vacation and standard national holidays. General guideline, more time can be taken as needed.

• 8 weeks of paid parental leave

$30,000 — $60,000/year
