Position Summary
The Advisory Information Security Program Manager is responsible for leading strategic, multi‑workstream security programs across Coalfire’s Advisory Services organization. This role serves as the primary driver of long‑term customer roadmaps, program governance, and cross‑functional alignment. As the central point of coordination for clients and internal teams, the Program Manager ensures that complex engagements deliver maximum value, remain on track, and adhere to Coalfire’s methodologies and quality standards. This position requires exceptional communication, strategic planning capability, and the ability to manage multiple project teams within a broader program structure. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, disciplined program governance, and a customer‑centric mindset to deliver consistent, predictable outcomes across Advisory engagements.
What You’ll Do

    • Program Strategy, Roadmap & Planning
    • Develop, maintain, and communicate customer-facing multi‑year security and compliance roadmaps.
    • Consult with clients and Advisory leaders to align program objectives with business, security, and compliance priorities.
    • Translate strategic objectives into actionable program plans, workstreams, milestones, dependencies, and KPIs.
    • Identify opportunities for program expansion and continuous improvement based on evolving client needs.
    • Program Governance & Reporting
    • Lead recurring program governance meetings (monthly, quarterly, and as required).
    • Produce and deliver executive‑level dashboards, program status reports, KPIs, risks, issues, and financial updates.
    • Establish and maintain program governance frameworks, communication cadences, escalation protocols, and decision logs.
    • Ensure alignment across all active workstreams, Coalfire service lines, and customer stakeholders.
    • Execution Oversight & Delivery Management
    • Oversee multiple concurrent projects and workstreams within the program, ensuring they stay aligned with program goals.
    • Partner closely with Project Managers, Engagement Leads, and Advisory SMEs to ensure quality, consistency, and on‑time delivery.
    • Coordinate staffing needs across projects by working with Resource Deployment Managers.
    • Monitor program health, budget performance, scope alignment, and delivery quality across all workstreams.
    • Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
    • Identify cross‑project risks, resource conflicts, and dependencies; drive mitigation and resolution strategies.
    • Facilitate timely escalation to Advisory leadership and client stakeholders when necessary.
    • Ensure adherence to Coalfire methodologies and quality standards throughout program execution.
    • Stakeholder Management & Communication
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for senior client stakeholders across the entire program.
    • Establish, manage, and communicate expectations for all program participants at every level.
    • Drive a consistent, high‑quality customer experience across all touchpoints.
    • Leadership & Collaboration
    • Provide direction and structure to project teams, shaping how workstreams interact and deliver value.
    • Promote operational excellence and offer input to enhance program and project management practices.
    • Contribute to internal continuous improvement initiatives and best‑practice development for Advisory Services.
    • Maintain company‑defined billable utilization targets.
    • Fully Remote with minimal travel, unless specifically required for client engagements.
What You’ll Bring

    • Minimum 7 years of project or program management experience.
    • Minimum 5 years in a client‑facing consulting or professional services environment.
    • Proven ability to manage multi‑workstream programs with cross‑functional teams.
    • Experience creating and managing customer roadmaps and long‑term governance structures.
    • Strong knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies.
    • Demonstrated success managing security, compliance, cloud, or technology programs.
    • Familiarity with project/program management tools such as Smartsheet or Microsoft Project
    • Exceptional communication skills, including executive presentations, editing, and customer‑facing interaction.
    • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships at senior levels.
    • Ability to self‑direct, prioritize, and manage complex programs in a fast‑paced environment.
    • Demonstrated leadership and consistent delivery of program‑level commitments and outcomes.
    • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate complex requirements into actionable long‑term plans.
    • Experience developing and delivering program governance structures and reporting.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Information Security, or related discipline.
    • Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.

$78,000 – $135,000 a year
The salary range listed is a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role based on national salary averages. The actual salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, geographic location, training, licensure and certifications and other factors. You may also be eligible to participate in annual incentive, commission, and/or recognition programs.
