The VP of Product is responsible for leading the company’s product strategy and execution, driving growth and innovation in the cryptocurrency industry. This leader will not only guide BitPay’s product offerings but also ensure that short-term goals are aligned with a forward-looking long-term vision. Using user testing and data-driven insights, they will champion BitPay’s customers, enhancing the user experience while advancing the company’s strategic objectives. They will also promote smooth cross-department collaboration to guarantee effective execution and alignment with overarching business goals.

A key focus of this role is building a high-performing product team and fostering a culture of innovation and customer-first thinking.

**Responsibilities:**
– Lead the product management team to deliver on a product roadmap aligned with company goals.
– Continuously improve product management processes to enable collaboration and innovation.
– Lead and develop strong product and product design teams, mentoring team members and promoting a culture of excellence.
– Use data analysis and customer insights to inform product decisions and strategic enhancements.
– Track performance metrics against company targets to improve outcomes.
– Create workflows that increase operational efficiency and improve product development cycles.
– Own product metrics and convert them into actionable goals that drive continuous improvement and innovation.
– Advocate for BitPay’s customers by turning insights into meaningful improvements to the user experience.
– Play an active role in company strategy as a member of BitPay’s leadership team.
– Perform other related duties as assigned.

**Requirements:**
– At least 8 years of product management experience, including at least 5 years in senior product leadership roles, ideally in the crypto industry.
– Proven, data-driven approach to product leadership—using insights to make well-informed decisions.
– Confidence working across both B2B and B2C environments, with an understanding of each’s unique challenges and opportunities.
– A clear strategic vision, with a demonstrated ability to execute initiatives that produce measurable results.
– A track record of successfully leading high-performing product management teams and cultivating a culture of excellence and innovation.
– Ability to innovate while comparing your approach to industry benchmarks, with an entrepreneurial mindset and adaptability.
– Strong communication and mentorship skills to motivate and empower team members.
– Flexibility, positivity, and a collaborative attitude—thriving in a fast-paced environment where challenges are seen as growth opportunities.
– Experience in fintech or payments; crypto experience is a plus.
