Product Marketing is at the heart of our customer momentum and market success.
Highspot is looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to drive our go-to-market strategy and execution in target industries such as Financial Services, Manufacturing and Life Sciences. Through in-depth research, this person will develop an intimate understanding of each industry – defining market opportunity, pricing and key personas, identifying trends, strategic partners, and key channels for communication, and articulating unique product positioning and messaging in order to build a portfolio of audience-specific content. This expertise will be used to equip and enable our sales team to establish industry confidence and trust, and ultimately win market share. This person will also work closely with Product to communicate industry-specific challenges and influence roadmap decisions, as well as Demand Gen to help coordinate ABM and field marketing campaigns.
What You’ll Do
Develop an industry-specific marketing plan that drives industry awareness, trust, and pipeline development
Understand industry audience pains and needs, and how Highspot uniquely addresses them
Effectively synthesize and translate needs into differentiated messaging and positioning
Craft effective customer-facing sales assets, tools, and collateral, and ensure they land with the right internal teams
Partner with Demand Generation to develop ABM and field marketing campaigns
Partner with Sales Teams to ensure the communication of value propositions
Collaborate with product to define a product roadmap in order to drive long-term industry growth
Launch industry products, solutions, and integrations as prioritized in the GTM strategy and product roadmap
Stay on top of the industry and competitive trends, and adjust marketing strategy accordingly
Your Background
The ideal candidate for this role loves exploring unique customer challenges and translating the value of a product accordingly.
You are curious, inquisitive, and relentless when it comes to becoming an expert in your field, and you don’t stop until you can fluently speak the language of your customer and put yourself in their shoes.
Aggressive goals are your kryptonite, you have a flair for writing and storytelling, and building alignment across teams is your superpower.
5+ years of Product Marketing experience in B2B enterprise technology with a proven track record developing and executing industry-specific product marketing programs
Demonstrated ability to understand customer problems and position a competitively differentiated solution
Demonstrated ability in sales training or development of sales support or enablement tools
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
Proven organizational, analytical and quantitative skills
Technical and business savvy to interface with all levels and disciplines within the organization
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and to execute independently on a variety of tasks
MBA or Marketing degree preferred
