The role:

We’re looking for our first Product Manager who will join us to work closely with the Layer leadership team to build and support the engineering team to execute against the product roadmap. Reporting to our CEO, you’ll be an operational product manager in a varied role that will involve all stages and areas of the product life cycle. As Layer’s only PM, you’ll engage with customers directly, testing hypotheses with fast prototypes, designing features, collaborating with engineers, and communicating changes internally and externally, to ultimately deliver a world-class product.

Our product is a very technical one, so this role would suit someone who has been working as Data Scientist or ML Engineer and is looking to evolve into a product role. Equally seasoned Product Managers who have worked to build an ML tool would also be successful in this role.
