Our Graduate Programme runs for a period of 12 months giving successful graduates the opportunity to become a full time Xapien once the programme has concluded. This role would therefore be a 12 month contract.

Position overview

As a Graduate Trainee within the product team of Xapo bank, you will play a meaningful role in assisting the how our product will bridge the traditional fiat banking world with the rapidly evolving landscape of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. This role offers an exciting opportunity for recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in an exciting fintech startup. You will work closely with senior product managers and cross-functional teams to support the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and ongoing optimization.

Responsibilities

• Market Research and Analysis: Among other things, conduct deep-dive analyses into market trends and customer behaviour to uncover opportunities for product innovation.

• Product Development Support: Collaborate with product owners and managers and cross-functional teams to assist in the development of new fintech products that bridge banking and Bitcoin. Contribute to product requirements documentation, user stories, and feature prioritization.

• Product Testing and Quality Assurance: Support the testing and quality assurance processes for new product releases and feature updates, ensuring we meet the highest standards of performance, security, and reliability.

• Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor the performance of Xapo’s product suite. Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs), user engagement metrics, and feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

• Customer Engagement and Support: Collaborate with customer support teams to address inquiries, feedback, and issues related to fintech products and services. Develop customer communication materials and FAQs that help Xapo’s customers understand its offering.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, legal, compliance, and risk management to ensure successful product launches.

• Professional Development: Gain expansive knowledge and skills in fintech, blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, and product management.

Rotation Structure

To maximize the opportunity to gain exposure to various aspects of product management and development, you will participate in a graduate rotation program, rotate through the 4 Tribes of Growth, Total Payment Volume, Engagement and Asset Under Management, covering the full customer lifecycle starting from customer acquisition and onboarding, through transacting and Wealth services, and activation and retention. During your graduate rotation program, you’ll spend 3-3 months with each Tribes, under the leadership of the VP of Products.

Orientation and Onboarding (1 week):

• Introduction to the organization’s mission, values, and culture.

• Onboarding sessions to familiarize participants with company policies, procedures, and tools.

• Introduction to key stakeholders and team members within the product development function.

Over 12 months, you will rotate through key areas of product development including:

• Product Management

• Product Marketing

• UX Design

• Software Development

• Data Analysis

• Regulatory Compliance

• And other exciting areas as well.

Skills needed

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Strong interest in fintech, blockchain technology, and cryptocurrency markets.

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a global, multicultural environment.

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.

• Prior internship or work experience in fintech, crypto, banking, product management, or related fields is a plus.
