Freelance Mechanical/Design Engineer for technical support on the development of a household consumer product. Fast-paced project, must be readily available, able to work independently off-site, reliable and self-managed. Background in the manufacturing of food related housewares or home appliances is preferred.

Responsibilities include specification of materials and manufacturing processes, detailing, tolerancing, coating/finish specifications, production of final technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing, 3d modeling and preparation of files suitable for rapid prototyping, support during prototyping, tooling and first run of manufacturing.
