Splash is a leading digital lending platform that helps borrowers easily shop and compare financial products from a Splash-powered network of lenders. By bringing credit unions and banks of all sizes into one shopping experience, and utilizing our proprietary automated underwriting platform, Splash aims to help people save thousands of dollars in interest payments.

Splash has raised over $60 million in venture capital, recently completing a $44 million Series B round from partners of DST Global, Citi Ventures, Detroit Venture Partners, CMFG Ventures and Northwestern Mutual Future Ventures. What you’ll do at Splash:

Understand user and business goals and seek to understand product market, competitors, opportunities, and challenges
Work closely with the Product Design Lead to continuously improve the UX Team.
Define information architecture, user journeys, and personas and be a strong advocate for UX
Identify metric and data that supports decision making, translate your hypothesis into concepts and requirements into user-flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypes for different desktop and mobile platforms.
Participate in initiative-level sessions and Design Thinking activities with stakeholders, product managers, and fellow designers, contribute to design production and research studies, and participate in product experience design workshops
Make user experience recommendation grounded in customer insights based on research and usability sessions.
Follow and apply design standards and best practices
Keep up to date with the latest design trends, tools and UX practices
Ensure all designs comply with ADA/WCAG standards for accessibility
Ability to quickly iterate designs based on feedback.

What makes you a good fit?

Exciting portfolio that showcases platform/UX and UI Design
Minimum 2-4 years of relevant design experience
Ability to follow a Design System, design clean aesthetic and the ability to simplify complex applications.
Experience with UX Design Process
Experience in Design Thinking/ Human-Centered Design
Demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences
Strong attention to detail
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency with Figma and Sketch

Experience in Fintech
Experience working with web and mobile based technologies (Web, iOS and Android)
