As a JavaScript Engineer you will be responsible for rolling out new leading edge UI/UX features and for writing third-party integrations. For example, developing collaborative editor similar to Google Docs. Working on JavaScript back-end is going to be part of the job. As part of a cross-functional team and reporting to the CTO, you will participate as an active member on an agile project management having daily standups and weekly plannings. Your opinion will matter.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Implement new user-facing features using leading edge technologies

• Write third party integrations

• Develop back-end if necessary

• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs

• Managing implementation given the time frame

• Evaluate, research and provide bug fixes

• Collaborate with the team

Background:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or technical discipline, or equivalent experience in an IT-related field

• 3+ years’ experience as a JavaScript Engineer or a similar position

• Hardcore Front-end JavaScript knowledge

• Knowledge about JavaScript on the back-end using NodeJS

• Excellent understanding about front-end technologies, frameworks, tools

• Familiarity with React, MongoDB, Meteor, Bootstrap
