DUTIES:
- Apply industry knowledge to come up with creative approaches to analyzing data and making project and studio improvements.
- Analyze data, build automated reports, and work with Analytics team to get all necessary data at the right time to manage game metrics.
- Analyze complex data sets to understand game metrics in order to inform hypotheses, and to create analytical experiments with clear and measurable success goals.
- Use data tools to identify and implement improvements in efficiency of repetitive data tasks, pipelines and processes, both on project specific level and studio wide.
- Create, manage, and distribute data and insights via regular and ad-hoc reporting utilizing reporting and analysis platforms such as Tableau, Excel, SQL.
- Create reports summarizing business intelligence data for review by executives and managers; collaborate with senior managers and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of problems and to clarify management objectives.
- Formulate mathematical or simulation models of problems, relating constants and variables, restrictions, alternatives, conflicting objectives, and their numerical parameters.
- Extract and analyze business intelligence data using SQL, Tableau, and Excel.
- Oversee training and management of junior analysts on the Analytics team.
REQUIREMENTS
- Master’s degree in Business Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field, plus skills (gained through experience, education, or training) in business analytics; data analytics applications and methods for big data; marketing analytics; statistical computing and data visualization; prescriptive analytics (simulation and optimization); predictive modeling; and statistical learning methods for business decision-making.

In compliance with local law, we are disclosing the compensation for this role. The range listed is just one component of Jam City’s total compensation package for employees, which may also include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on a variety of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, certifications, location, business needs, or market demands. This range is based on a full-time position. This range may be modified in the future. In addition, Jam City provides a variety of benefits to employees, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, life, disability, and accident insurance. Pay Rate: $160,000 per year
