Our company provides development services to a fast paced Social Media Marketing company building web sites and CRM tools for real estate agents. We are looking to augment a small team (2 developers currently). We are very established with a loyal client base, and keep ourselves at the cutting edge of technology!

WHAT YOU NEED FOR THIS POSITION:

• 3+ years of Strong PHP development experience. Experience with Kohana or CodeIgniter a plus. Must have solid background in at least one php based MVC framework.

• HTML/CSS – bootstrap

• JavaScript – JQuery, Angular, Handlebars

• Parsing XML/JSON

• Social APIs – Facebook/Twitter (posts, ads, pages, feed)

• Apache

• MySQL

• Redis or memcached

• WordPress – Multi-site, theme customizations, plugin customizations

• Prior experience with Java, NetSuite or python is a big plus for our legacy systems

• Experience working in a Unix environment (Linux/OS X). Basic bash scripting, cron jobs, and basic apache configuration/.htaccess

Example Applications:

• Email marketing campaigns

• Manual and scheduled posts to Facebook

• Automated ad campaigns to Facebook

• Billing through Netsuite

• Extending WordPress through both plugins and API calls

• Web site listings / lead capture

• Integration with Zillow/Trulia/Realtor.com

This is a long-term contracting opportunity at 40hrs/week.
