• Show curiosity and actively look for opportunities to learn and improve.
• Take ownership of your work, its direction, and its outcomes.
• Lead initiatives and proactively solve problems, especially complex technical challenges within your domain.
• Mentor and support other engineers, sharing knowledge and helping them grow.

Your Experience:

• Proven hands-on experience building web applications, backend systems, and APIs.
• Ability to make informed technical decisions and understand trade-offs.
• Experience contributing to effective testing practices and opinions about quality-driven development.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment processes, and experience helping scale them.
• Examples of using test-driven and behavior-driven development and advocating for these approaches.
• Experience thriving in an agile environment and applying agile principles.
• Ability to describe meaningful conversations where you gave feedback with humility and openness.
• Examples of improving processes or systems and collaborating with teams or stakeholders to implement changes.
• Instances where you supported a team decision even when it differed from your preference.
• Experience partnering closely with product managers and designers.
